Its best-known trait and namesake is the ability to, without warning, snap its large and powerful mandibles several thousand times faster than the human eye can blink. Consider yourself warned. Single; favourite creature in the entire world right now is likely my tortoise, Charlemagne. Cynical, opinionated and atheistic, liberal but fairly apathetic, relativist, consider determinism and solipsism interesting possibilities but basically irrelevant. Born London, raised for the first three years of my life in Glasgow, then lived in London again until 2004. Have lived in Bristol since then. I like reading and writing, particularly speculative fiction. I enjoy good real-time strategy games (as in not Starcraft), talking to friends and occaionally arguing the toss over trivialities. Though this journal was originally named to match my (then) hugely snappy internet persona, I feel I've mellowed quite a bit recently, though I'm still a bit impatient, still don't suffer fools gladly and still boil over with extreme cynicism from time to time. Anyone who comes across this from the forums or Runescape communities I'm a member of - yes, this is the right place. My Runescape account was named "Sausageman10". I wrote the (now completely irrelevant) Tip.It Times article Anything Goes, used to be a member of The British Elites and assistant leader of Team Demolition, and probably one itemed or flamed you at some point or other. However, I left the game and everything connected with it at the very end of 2007. Sorry to disappoint.
